• This 16 oz. jar makes 25 gallons of soaking solution. Made especially for vintage and antique textiles, this gentle but powerfully effective stain remover takes out the stains without damaging delicate fibers or colors. SAFE, even for lace, embroidery, and very old family heirlooms.
• Removes yellow and brown age stains, stains of unknown origin, mildew, and the discoloration that comes from long-term storage. Restores fabric to its original color. If your item has previously been tea-dyed to hide the stains, it will also remove the tea.
• Safe for cotton, linen, and most water-washable fabrics; will not fade most colored embroidery (check for color-fastness if item has not previously been washed)
• Fragrance-free. Product is activated by boiling water. Use 2 Tbsp. for every gallon of water; 16 oz. jar makes 25 gallons of solution. This product takes less powder per gallon than most other stain-removal products.
• For silk, cool solution to lukewarm before soaking. Not recommended for wool.
